THE EXAMINED LIFE is pleased to welcome you to our new website. In 2019, before the pandemic, we celebrated our 20th anniversary with reminiscences of the years past. But, also with an eye to the future. One of the first items on our to-do list was to give our website a big sprucing up which, of course, turned into a complete makeover.
Hours of writing and editing copy, searching through thousands of photos of trips gone by and the realization of the importance of putting our best foot forward, we gathered a group of volunteers and found a website designer. Our team, Barbara Harrison, founder of ExL, Barbara Scotto, our “professor,” Stephen Guerriero, our Resident Scholar, Jennifer Hanson, our technology specialist, Debi Milligan, the current Connie Crean Carven Fellow and Cambridge Rindge and Latin’s photography teacher, along with Executive Director Mary Kemper, found Sara Betnel of Reveal Communications to guide the project.
We wanted our new website to reflect how dynamic and relevant the program continues to be, while still being informative and most of all, easy to navigate. Our thanks go to the AHEPA National Housing Corporation for the lead grant, along with the Kemper Family Charitable Trust for the remainder of the money necessary to complete the project.
Also, thanks to the website team, and to our photographer friends, Ellen Reagan, Angel Diaz, Jennifer Hanson, Mary Kemper, Debi Milligan and Barbara Scotto. In addition, we are thankful to Debi Milligan for offering us the use of several of her original watercolors created during one of our Study Tours of Greece.
Now that you are here — enjoy your visit to the all new www.teachgreece.org!
